Melbourne & Sydney latest...

Visits to both Sydney and Melbourne in recent weeks have been very positive for Fashion in the Street. Lots of material has been created and I hope to show at least some of it over the next few weeks here.

Preparing images for my masters study project has taken up quite a bit of time, and those will be shown here in posts to follow.

Meantime, some more of the standard Fashion in the Street fare this time. Special thanks to Linda & Nadia who stepped in at the last minute for repeat appearances, and also to Leschelle, Hayley and Jill for their lovely help as well. Jill has her own blog which you can see @ iamjillwright.com

Season 4 - close-up with the models

Fashion in the Street is as much about the models who take part as it is about the fashion and the environments.

Still in cinematic (2.4:1) format, here's a small sample of some recent close-up favourites.

More season 4 cinema crops.

The cinema crop format ( 2.4:1 ) draws the viewer into the scene, allowing them to create their own narrative from the moment captured.

Exploring this idea, and the relationship of model to the environment, is a feature of season 4, and the associated work on my Masters project for the school of art.
