Horizontals on the streets of Melbourne

Fashion in the Street has been working with the cinematic crop for years now. But it's always good to revisit an approach and see if it's still got the appeal which first prompted its uptake.

Recent Melbourne visits proved a lovely opportunity to work with wonderful people and get into the swing of the cinematic feel...

Melbourne Fashion Festival 2026

Fashion in the Street was back at the MFF again in 2026.

The traditional venue and fabulous guests are always a highlight.

Melbourne Fashion Festival 2025

Fashion in the Street has been offline for some time!

We've still been attending and photographing at the big fashion festivals and fashion weeks in Melbourne and Sydney, but the regular online posting has been sadly neglected!

The next few posts are a futile attempt to catch up on several years of missed posts!

Thanks to those who stopped to be photographed, to Katie, Samin and Shevonne for their lovely help, and to Melbourne Fashion Festival for putting on a great show!

Melbourne Fashion Festival – 2024 first look

Fashion the Street returned to Melbourne for 2024 with activity on the street, at the festival plaza and on the runways.

Here's a first glimpse...

Diana

Thanks to all who stopped to be photographed, who helped with runway access, and to Diana, who walked around the CBD one pleasant afternoon. (more with Diana to follow soon!)

And, more to come as well,

Brian.
